Originally created by Sara to benefit Theatre Action Project in Austin, Texas, a non-profit that brought art, music and theatre to Central Texas schools. This recording earned TAP thousands of dollars during the years they were active. Thank you to ALL 38 of the artists, the many engineers and producers who shared their creative spirits to make this amazing recording a reality; to Pat Ramseur for designing the packaging; Mark Hallman for mastering; David Kronke, for the liner notes; Universal Music Group and all the co-writers and publishers who graciously allowed us to use the songs without a fee so Theatre Action Project would make 100% of the funds from the sale of this recording, and, finally, the Texas Commission on the Arts & the Texas State Legislature for naming Sara Official State Musician so she could speak out on behalf of families and the arts.

Sara Hickman's career in music began at 7, winning first place in a school talent show. She's appeared twice on "The Tonight Show;" at Carnegie Hall; performed on tv, radio & at hundreds of festivals, theatres, clubs and house concerts around the world. 2010 Texas State Musician (between Willie Nelson & Lyle Lovett). She created 2 volumes of the Texas Musicians Coloring Book & has over 18 albums. ... more
